Kentucky Veterans Cemetery South East (KVCSE)

Kentucky Veterans Cemetery South East (KVCSE) opened in April 2018.  KVCSE is a 42-acre facility located on Tim Couch Pass, in Hyden, KY (Leslie County). The Cemetery is staffed with four full-time employees; a Cemetery Director, an Administrative Assistant, a Superintendent and one Caretaker.  At the close of Fiscal Year 2021, KVCSE had 75 veterans and dependents interred at Kentucky Veterans Cemetary South East 1280 KY-118 is located in Hyden, Kentucky.​​​​

KVCSE has received the National Cemetery Administration's Stewardship Award in recognition of superior performance results following an NCA-led compliance review. KVCSE is one of the few state veteran cemeteries in the country to be awarded this recognition.
