Health Care

Logo of the My HealtheVet program

The Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs does not provide direct health care to veterans other than that provided to residents of our four veterans nursing homes.
KDVA strongly encourages all veterans to sign up for health care provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Veterans in Kentucky have access to VA healthcare through eight different VA Medical Centers and 27 local Community-Based Outreach Clinics (CBOC) and healthcare centers.

VA Medical Centers

NOTE: Each of the VA Medical Centers has a patient advocate on staff. Call the patient advocate if you experience difficulty. Most problems can be resolved through the Patient Advocate Office.
