Vietnam War 50th Anniversary Commemoration

The purpose of the Commemoration is to recognize, honor and thank the Vietnam veterans in our communities. It also seeks to recognize and thank the survivors of those who died in Vietnam, as well as the families who support Vietnam veterans who returned home. And the Commemoration pays tribute to the work done on the home front by Americans during the Vietnam War, highlights the scientific and technological advances that came out of the war, and recognizes the contributions and sacrifices of our allies during the war. Kentucky is proud to be an official Commemorative Partner, and the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs is proud to be the lead agency in fulfilling Kentucky’s responsibilities as a Commemorative Partner.
