Trust Fund Accomplishments
Since the Kentucky General Assembly established the Kentucky Veterans Program Trust Fund in 1988, the Trust Fund has distributed more than $1 million to support more than 40 projects to help veterans throughout Kentucky.

$150,000 from the Trust Fund established the Homeless Veterans Transitional Treatment Program in Lexington.

$225,000 from the Trust Fund purchased five gold Eagle statues for the front of each of Kentucky's state veterans cemeteries.

Vans for Transporting Disabled Veterans |

$100,000 has helped purchase 10 vans for Disabled American Veterans to transport disabled veterans.

Direct Assistance to Veterans at Risk of Homlessness |

$50,000 has helped more than 200 veterans avoid homelessness through one-time cash grants to pay rent or utilities.

$60,000 has helped provide burial honors for hundreds of veterans at cemeteries across Kentucky.
