VetSuccess

VetSuccess is a program of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Its primary function is to help veterans with military service-connected disabilities become suitably employed, maintain employment or achieve independence in daily living.

Once a veteran has been declared eligible for the program, staff develop a rehabilitation plan to achieve employment.

The Kentucky Small Business Development Center (KSBDC) is one of four programs nationwide that received a veterans small business grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The KSBDC received the one-time $100,000.00 award to promote business ownership to active and reserve duty military personnel, veterans and spouses and businesses impacted by deployments. Through the grant, the KSBDC offers specialized services for starting, growing or sustaining a business. Services include:

• Individualized Management Consultations
• Market Planning & Research
• Educational Workshops and Materials
• Financial Analyzes
